Diving cruises in the Maldives
The Maldives have been one of our favorite destinations: the photos shown are a small sample from live-aboard diving cruises with Tina Englen and Pascal Kobeh in 1993, 1994 and 1996, and more recently with Paul and Marie-Laure of Ok Maldives in 2007. Typical cruises last about two weeks, visiting sites in the Atolls of North Malé, South Malé, Ari, Rasdhu, Mulaku, and Felidhu. Drift dives in atoll passes to see pelagic fauna and visits to manta ray cleaning stations are primary goals of these odysseys. Visibility can be quite variable depending on the season and plankton blooms.
